Alain Raynaud
Season No. 10 - The Doctor

Alain Raynaud became a medical doctor in Bordeaux in 1972. However, his family has made wine for generations and the tradition caught up with him. He went on to take courses at the Institute of Oenology.

He was president of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux from 1994 to 2000 and is presently in charge of the Grand Cercle des Vins de Bordeaux.

He managed the family estates in Pomerol as well as Chateau Quinault in Saint Emilion with his wife, Françoise. They are presently owners of Chateau du Parc in Saint Emilion. Alain has established himself as one of the most sought-after consultants in Bordeaux and provides his services in France and abroad.
